As Global Head of Research at Philips, Betsabeh Madani Hermann drives breakthrough innovation: investing, strategizing, and operating at the frontier of tech and health. Previously, she served as the Global Head of Strategy & Business Development for Philips’ six businesses in Connected Care, orchestrating high-growth strategies across a multi-billion-dollar portfolio.

Betsabeh operates where strategy, investment, and frontier technology converge, transforming complexity into competitive edge and scalable market disruption. She has advised Fortune 500 CEOs, worked with investors to scale deep-tech ventures, and driven transformational growth across healthcare, biotech, Ag-tech, and robotics.

She holds an MBA from Tuck (Dartmouth), a Master’s in Bio-Mechanical Engineering, and graduate research in proteomics from UBC, along with bachelor's degrees in physics and in Biochemistry. A former Adjunct Professor at UBC, she has mentored the next generation of innovators and executives, driving scalable growth, system-wide thinking, and high- impact strategy.
