Leila Toplic is a global technology and social impact executive with 20 years of experience in tech and nonprofit sectors. She founded and leads the Emerging Technologies Initiative at NetHope (a nonprofit consortium of 60 global NGOs), working with leaders from nonprofit, business, academia, and government to advance responsible development and use of AI/ML and data for societal good. Leila also works with Salesforce's Office for Ethical and Humane Use on tech ethics initiatives and advises startups at the intersection of technology, education, and ethics. Prior to NetHope, Leila spent 15 years in leadership roles in tech sector (Microsoft, Adobe) and at social enterprise startups (Samasource, LRNG). Leila was recently named 100 Brilliant Women in AI Ethics for 2021.
